Ministries

Below are some of the Ministry Opportunities that Brooks Assembly has to offer.

Missionettes is a girls' program that teaches Godly principles and character, designed for girls kindergarten through sixth grade. The missionette motto is, "Changing the World, One Girl at a Time". They are using all new materials geared to meet the needs of girls in this millennium! They meet Wednesday nights at 7:00pm during family night.

Royal Rangers is a program for boys who like fun and adventure. Camping, hiking, outings, Bible Study and scripture memorization are just some of the features in this great program. The entire program is in the process of being re-written with the newest upgrade already in place for boys grades kindergarten through second, and is called Ranger Kids. All Clubs meet Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.

The Families Ministries group has a Sunday School Class for parents and hosts a monthly activity that features fellowship for parents and occasional activities for the whole family! Brooks Assembly offers a nursery for babies age two and under, Cherub Church up to age 5 and Children's Church for grades one through six! The Nursery is offered both on Sundays and Wednesdays!

Women's Ministries weekly meetings are on Tuesdays at 10:00 am. Our ladies are vitally concerned about the roles they play in today's world. They find fulfillment as they minister to the needs of foreign and home missionaries, as well as helping in a variety of other worthy projects. They minister and meet needs as they arise, such as giving wedding and baby showers, preparing meals and visiting shut-ins. Their concerns are addressed as they meet to focus on personal and spiritual growth. In addition to their weekly Tuesday morning meetings, they sponsor a weekly food bank and usually host a monthly breakfast, craft, dessert fellowship or special features and much more!

Honor Bound Men of Promise
Teamwork is the goal of the men's ministry group at Brooks Assembly. From monthly breakfast fellowship times, retreat trips and painting parties for widows, to the joint effort of raising funds for Light for the Lost missions literature, our men desire to pull together for the cause of Christ in the greater Brooks area and around the globe!

The Senior Adult ministries of our church include both opportunities to serve and be served. Brooks Seniors keep very busy with such things as: Sunday School classes, Tuesday mornings "Hour of Power" prayer meeting, Prayer chain ministry, monthly potlucks (first Mondays at noon), a monthly outing, Jamboree, Sectional Potlucks, Prison ministry, Union Gospel Mission service and nursing home services. The strength of any church is involvement and our seniors are very committed to serve!

Music Ministries
Brooks Assembly has a lively music department that includes: a sanctuary choir, special music, instrumentals and inspiring worship. Christmas and Easter musicals are some of the annual highlights of the music department.

Assemblies of God Foreign Missions
Over 40 missionary families and singles are supported on a monthly basis at Brooks Assembly, representing both foreign and home missions endeavors. We believe that God blesses a missionary-minded church! It is our goal to continue to support as many missionaries as possible to fulfill the great commission of Jesus!
